The Marriage Knot

Days counting faster and clock ticking time soon to ring the auspicious marriage bells where me and sruthi take vows "Keep ourselves unto each other..".

From couple of months its been a over pouring to-do-list on my calendar with tons of arrangements, planning, travel, shopping and awakening my lost creativity for surprise gifts :P...

As everyone says these are moments to be cherished as this shows how good you are prepared to manage your family ahead.Bachelors doesn't really have those above listed things "strictly" they do as they wish.

Till now as most of us claim "Single is my attitude"-- As I never had a habit of planning for dinner, well planned travel reservations, checking the clock to reach back home,'Oh its late i have to go home' from now its a different life , sruthi will be waiting @ home for me to reach home(I Guess :)) If someone ask me to join for a dinner or a trip i will say "will check with sruthi :P" (Hope sruthi reads this blog :P) ........

Of course its a well known fact that no 2 humans thinks alike in every aspect. Marriage is one beautiful thing that keeps still these 2 people together for lifetime. I am an engg student i know how a sine wave works :P ...but who holds tight till the end of the day will be happy always...

yeah i m a normal guy thinking abt career, success, living at moment down to earth :P  and she is so naive her priorities are love and care so she completes me and to set our common goals it takes some time :) Every couple has a fight Isn’t It? If there are couples who don’t fight at all I wouldn’t call them normal! But how fast we resolve and understand each other concerns holds the relation strong...we are doing good at it :) we resolve things fast...sruthi always keep her cool and holds my hand tightly that's why i feel its a Gods knot planned well ahead before we met each other!

We have experienced love in our parents, relatives, friends and now a new love in each other.

Together with our parents , we  "Tej & Sruthi"invite you to share with us a celebration of love..

Perfect Life Partner

Its time for the important event of my life -- Yes , I am getting married to a wonderful lady "Sruthi"

Getting into details from December'2011 My friends updates in fb seems like only on marriage :p
i was busy attending friends marriages and there were lot of debates on this so called important day "Marriage". I was not paying much attention and pulling friends legs on that part as i was under assumption that i will take couple of more years.

Time and tide wait for none :) :

I was busy traveling to friends marriages kiran and naidu in Jan end and Feb start to rajahmundry and vizag and while traveling since it is a new year was reading a book called "GOALS" somehow one of the point i wrote for this year was marriage before my b'day September. To my surprise i got a proposal from my uncle in the same trip initially i was little hesitant but I was pushed :p .

First Looks & Confirmed :

I saw her once in a common gathering few days before i got the proposal. So kind of +ve from the beginning :) . As both of our parents are open and friendly nature, they gave us first priority to express our interest before getting in to any other discussions. We had a chat for sometime and expressed our interests then all went on express way.

What I feel about her :

These days seeing comments from others to be honest i was really skeptical about arranged marriages but for my mentality, personality, close to my family,i am personally not good for love marriage too :p

"First look i felt she is cute, naive, emotional and expressive.we had time for a talk on the day when i went with my family.I was little afraid n shy too :) but somehow i was surprised we spoke to each other for 30 + min. Most of our tastes, family attachment are same.It took only 24hrs for us to become strangers to couple. Yeah, she is little emotional the day after I saw her and marriage confirmed, at vizag airport she is almost at tears and we proposed each other like tollywood style lovers :p."

What she feels about me in her own words:

"Tej looks smart, silent and innocent.I like his smile a lot.Anything i say he just smiles.I am so comfortable with him in quick time.He is taller than me that is the only thing i don't like :). I took a right decision choosing him.He is my lyf luv him 4 ever.Maa ayana bangaram :)"

Blood donation - you can save 3 lifes

One of my friend when asked about blood donation for his friend i was thinking how i can help them
Earlier I used to be hesitant, afraid of it but after knowing some facts i realized i should help others as well can’t just watch and forward some text msgs in mobile, status in gtalk, fb etc...

when last time my company organized a blood donation few weeks back i donated blood.. felt it is a  noble, selfless service! It gives a feeling of joy and contentment. Also this is an expression of love for Mankind, as blood knows no caste, color, creed, religion or race, country, continent or sex.

A blood donation occurs when a person voluntarily donates blood  for transfusions
For a noble cause: most blood donors are unpaid volunteers. People who have misconception usually they think of giving blood only when family or friends need a transfusion.

Incase of emergency whom i should contact for blood?:
There are lots of database nearest to your place who can help you get it
http://www.rotarybloodbank.org/
http://www.friendstosupport.org/
http://www.indianblooddonors.com/

Is it safe? : Donating is relatively safe, but some donors have bruising where the needle is inserted or may feel faint. Potential donors are evaluated for anything that might make their blood unsafe to use. The screening includes testing for diseases that can be transmitted by a blood transfusion, including HIV and viral hepatitis. The donor is also asked about medical history and given a short physical examination to make sure that the donation is not hazardous to his or her health.

How often you can donate: How often a donor can give varies from days to months based on what he or she donates and the laws of the country where the donation takes place, usually 3 months gap is suggested

Who can give: Any person within the age group of 18 - 60 years with a body weight as minimum 45 kgs, and having hemoglobin content as minimum 12.5 gm%.

You can find which blood group suits others.know your inner circle people blood groups it may help you in emergency. The amount of blood drawn and the methods vary. The collection can be done manually or with automated equipment that only takes specific portions of the blood.

One unit 450 ml can help 3 people..guys this is the least thing you can do for community ..help people.

Indian Cricket history rewritten with Worldcup 2011

:My best memories of cricket final 2011
April 2nd Ind Vs SL world cup final: I want to share my joy about one of the most memorable sports day i was waiting for long time may be from the day i admire cricket and sachin..

Everything is set for the historic final and i was gearing up to witness at my friends place with a bunch of my friends coming with families and kids too..we gathered around 2pm.As enthusiastic cricket fans every1 dressed up for occassion with tri colored flags, gaint screen, tattoos on faces few bleeding blue :) ..i was updating my FB as i guessed the QF score(260) ind vs Aus naturally there were guessing and here i gave 270-280 two days before the final and it again turned to be right..
HIGH ON TARGET :The game begin as SL batsmen came into the field like SriLankan lions but Indian first spell  under zaheers attack was worth watching but Jayawardene, the classy cricketer nearly took game away .Indians momentum with his classy shots and feathery touch  made undoubtedly a brilliant 100.We all rubbing our hands saying that at least there should be good score if not India will win single handedly.. lol!..and munching the snacks biscuits, chips, chockis, mangoes, watermelon and we too had a drinks break with lemonade :)..

Nail bitting moments: I left in FB status that i am gonna watchout how India faces malinga  here comes a nasty blow sehwag gone in the start but sachin superb straight drive brought us on tow waving flags..suddenly malinga came back and sachin gone!!! big..big..wicket suddenly tense all around and ladies who brought food packed for the occasion giving bouncers to others as they don't want their hard efforts on cooking to be part of spoiled party..few started playing with kids to ease out the tense..few crazy guys stick to screen(like me) started munching pop corn, dhokla heavily so nervous :(..

Momentum :Delhi saviour for T20 WC gambhir chipping with glorious shots and young lad kohli seems promising every1 giving  their view of how much partnership required..kohli lost for a amazing return catch for dilshan..As we friends expected DHONI came in and i told to my colleagues on Ind Vs Pak Semis that "i never saw dhoni coming up in WC which means he is not looking confident but here he promoted himself". I admire his qualities as leader who don't want to comment on young lads if something goes wrong from dressing room.he was out on the arena to make his day to support team.Dhoni fiercely hitted boundaries  offside in legandary muralis attack..match seems promising but still people are not taking it lightly as India known for collapsing in mins. All are stuck to the big screen including ladies who left in btw...biting nails ,praying god :)...as score card gradually ticking  smaller we jumped with joy, taking snaps with waving tri-colored indian flag shouting "Indiaaa Indiaaa".malinga back into attack but dhoni who already in superb touch inching forward on every boundary to make history

Glory: 4 runs required and dhoni bat ticked so sweetly to a rocketier that flew high in to the mumbai skies people roaring in the stands.. there was "Vandemataram" song playing fans are in trance..emotions everywr that a human can show on one's face anger, lost, anguish for SL fans, tears of joy on dhoni(nvr seen before),gary in dressing room felt like its his own country who made it as SA never own 1,sachin the god for 21years who waited for this day ran into ground emotionally, yuvarajs fury, bajjis senti bursted thru tears...1 billion people who witnessed live or on TV for this historic moment couldn't stand still in one place, there were people dancing, partying, drenched in winning celebrations.we had a mouthwatering dinner at-last after the presentation with all the happiness in the world and ended with an ice cream feast :D

Wat a fantastic day it is for indian cricket! goals, hardwork, commitment on fielding, bowling and batting .indian team gave their 100% as they know only one thing..they want  this cup for 1billion cricket fans supporting them and one man SACHIN for his contribution to indian cricket kudos! We are champions  "first time after i took my first breathe i saw india lifting 50 over world cup" its been a long wait but its worth it!!!!

Cricket a religion and we have our own GOD!

Cricket the most admired sport in sub-continent which believed to be originated from England derived from the Middle Dutch phrase  met de (krik ket)sen (i.e., "with the stick chase").Though it is absorbed from the 300 years of British ruling in India.Indians known for the patience and good hearten learn the art of the game even from the tyranny and soon over took the same.
Most kids starts who learn to eat by their own hand will start holding cricket bat,it is a default choice of first professional game for many Indians as it became a common religion for many people.I still remember when i was
doing my 1st standard gift for getting a 1st rank is a cricket kit from Delhi i made it ,loved that offer. It was not same always probably that's the reason i didn't aimed higher ranks later he he he:)..

But everything in life has its own priorities but some take extreme steps for this sport too that is the reason few people comments it like ''Cricket is a game where 11 fools play and 11,000 fools watch'' is the observation made by George Bernard Shaw.I am in total agreement with that British seer

New face of game:
Cricket has a new face of life now its been a source of surplus funds,an entertainer,a reason for peace talks for countries,a place to prove the dominance in sport(but people take it on other side),new celebrities for movies,a formula for increasing TRPs for television.Last but not least some misuse their own time n lifes in heated arguments and few die at heart breaker winning moments.

Today is a big day for many cricket fans its a match that has the best expectations more than a final.Yes India Vs Pakistan the cricket rivalry is all here..many took off today to watch it live
If someone stuck at office watch it live on

few best matches i ever remember are
Sachins win centuries in sharjah,
Kaneetkar winning four on last but one ball India's memorable victory over Pakistan
Ind vs Pak world cup matches(especially sachins 98 off 75)
Kaif and Yuvarajs stand for Natwest series
what are your favorite games? I liked most matches abv as i saw wid huge groups of friends :) especially tht Ind Vs Pak match i think next day we have maths board exam but literally watched the match :P

Kolkata trip

Thougt of sharing my trip to kolkata  in my voice unlike Tagore :)
which was pending from long time wn sriji invited me an yr back...anyway(SW life) doesn't give that flexi ri8? but this time its my childhood buddy Siva n Sriji marriage and i don't have enuf excuses :)..

As like every sw engg i was googling to get tickets wn date was approaching to get my travel..after a lot of search i decided to take an expensive flight trip (i saw the same for very less but@tht time i was still waiting fr my leave approval)...
Guess the date? its 1st Jan 2011 a chilled morning and my fli8 @6.40am but due to bad weather i had to wait for 90 more mins to take off..i saw ranji team@airport including utappa n others..

sriji directions:
I tried my luck n finally i kept traveling in Volvo bus to airport--> flight to kolkata--> old yellow ambassador cab to howrah-->NO space for standing local train to kholaghat--> finally a legacy manual pully rickshaw to her home OMG! i couldn't believe did i miss any other stand modes of transport? yes boat i opted out bcoz sriji told i hav to hold my nose ti8 if i come in cruise from Howrah

Quick bytes:
I heard so much abt kolkata from sriji n my co passenger rohit in fli8..while fli8 abt to land i had a glimpse of packed kolkata from sky but somhw from far i felt similar to my town..greenish n shabby building wid so many ponds (I want to try fish here for sure)..
Reaching venue:
old buildings aged trees on their walls too:)
its time i rushed out of airport n shocked to get a cab(1hr travel) for <200rs a usual city bus ticket cost in blore..here it comes an old vroooming yellow ambassador manual lock n windows n headed to Howrah station..tried to click few snaps from my iphone
Here r my thoughts in my mind wn i saw first time "Am i back to 1940s??" :( old tram on the road, big buildings on the road but they aren’t painted for years, trees grown on walls, manual rickshaw, small wood made city buses, my cabbie going banging on the narrowest roads..thr i saw ppl eating, bathing on the road side and whistling to girls in "mini skirts" on the same road STOP! wats ths?????????

Tram on roads
Words from heart:
Yes blame to govt but people r quite modernized atleast girls here are modern:) ..but to be frank wat I felt was like an old malgodi film remember the title song ”taa na na na” ri8 I feel Kolkata still preserve the Old India heritage and I realized soon not just the town people here are still India’s goldies.. underneath the minis and jeans stil people are preserving good hearted Indians…wow! I wish I want to go back to past to get the human values n I totally came back from techie to aam admi :P I didn’t use my phone almost fr my stay 5 days here..
howrah station

Finally after reaching Howrah I took a local train n I don’t have place to stand n ppl r having fun listening  to guys selling ri8 from toys, fud, buks, til medicines al costs less thn 20-30rs “Error! These rates r not found elsewr I guess”.After crossing a big bridge over a river I got dwn in a village station ”kolaghat” my frnd siva waiting fr me thr,he made me sit in a rickshaw it’s a village less thn a km radius on river bed..whil I travel ppl gaze us like a foreigner coming to town..u know ppl ask wats meaning of internet here but they adopted technology keeping it in old style meaning sugarcane crushers on a rickshaw, electric rice cooker wid steam, open flat rickshaw attached to a 100cc mopid to serve like an auto etc..
Gud to back in such a village for sure its too cold I had to wear socks, gloves and jackets al the time we wnt for shopping sandals n couldn’t find so calledd Branded came back buyin chappals fr <100rs ..
Marriage:
Sriji n siva dressed apt in Bengali style lukd so pretty n traditions r so close to telugu except a few like they blew “shanka” fr blessings n make diff kinds of sound frm mouth n some of kinds of instruments which is forgotten and replaced wid baraat bands in other places.Funny thing is Video camera guy carries power flex board to his hip to get power to flash..ha ha ha..

Food is really great wn   I discussed wid srijis mom before marriage I was guessing items but here comes prawns, mutton, chicken fish probably only these creatures r favorites here everything in menu

I  forgot no meal goes here without rasagulla or misti, fish n here al time favorite snacks “Muri”

Sightseeing:
i visited Victoria memorial went to shopping in national market had a glimpse of eden gardens, lake view hotels, museum , i went to fair enjoyed rides n hot jilebi n traveled in subway finally on 5th ni8 i returned to airport

Sendoff:
siva n sriji r heading to US so may nt meet again in years..we all shared coke to sendoff..all of sudden sriji broke into tears n shades of gloominess spreaded all over i was feeling as if i am traveling abroad n though i went inside.. still they both waited outside the airport at glass mirrors n finally gave hand fingers(As i am inside airport handshake not possible :( no gap in walls n mirrors but sriji found a place to sneak in her fingers.. i said bye to my buddies from the other side itself..headed to my seat in fli8 wr i travel back alone wid loads of memories ....though this post seems too big i hope for years i want to save this moment.. things in life mi8 look small and we tend to forget over the time but writings like this make me go back to my days n playback them wn i miss them most

.Adieu ...All the best siva n sriji n both parents who shared their love unconditionally n made my trip memorable..n u knw? i have big kids following team thr n  kuttus(srijis cousin) gave best company for entire trip lov u team...

Trip to bekal

A lazy n most pleasant trip
We had been traveling from last 2 times to kerala only i.e WAYNAD followed by Alleppy and now to Bekal 3 time traveled to kerala in couple of months  :) ...

Unexplored destination :
When my friend sriji told abt it the day after we were
back from alleppy i was not even thinking that i will make it...
anyway last trip best buddies bv,vijay n naidu missed
who were looking badly for a fun n nature loving place with us..

Bangalore to Kasirgod n Valiyaparamba(boat house)since its 300 km frm bangalore we tuk public transport its well connected with kerala and karnataka RTC..
We went early morning thr had to refresh somewhr
surprisingly we could get a boat house for our refreshments(i hope no one would hav tried so
innovative :) credit goes to sriji) we could catch the
glimpse of calm wide spread river bed wid numerous
coconut trees made us recollect exact pics of kerala
Adz in tourism...the joy in the faces were captured
n digitalised as cherishing memories :)i stil remember tht click of photo which my brain tuk which i backed
up long single pass wooden bridge wid wud to bridge the gap btw 2 towns...

Bekal fort
from there we headed to fort on private  transport as kerala rtc isn't well connected n local trains r preferred but plan well as we misd... we regret as roads r in bad shape n one has to be so careful as we felt hard even in Volvo..but no one could carry bad roads or
hardships the moment we entered lush green lawns and the unending wall of fort which reminded us
"china wall" wow amazing experience

.

I feel people r not aware of this place but i later come to know once i reach thr that it is place where they shooted "Bombay" movie song Uyire Uyire amazing place i shld say if u could recollect...

We played in the place as it seems like almost Goa :)

Here are few snaps top left natural pose :) at edge of fort from where one can see high tides of sea touching the sky at far end(imagining)
Top left is at bekal beach
Bottom left is view of bekal fort from the beach side and at last the happy team which came back from the trip with loads of memories and smiles.

Trip to Wayanad - Kerala

Wayanad--(gods own country) on bday'2010

Finally i confirmed this trip thou i planned to visit it many times before..As last bday i visited coorg this time wn d day approaching frnds started asking me wr i
planned this time to be part of team :)...so i had plans but inspite of time conflict i redesigned trip n informed in short notice to all...we briefed it to be a 1night/1day trip..

Lastmin dropouts:naidu n vijay n few other frnds misd this trip due to the dependencies @work i pity them as it was awesome trip..

We started 2 hours late in my plan..6 of us started @4pm waynad is in kerala which is around 350kms drive of 5-6 hours..but unlike other trips this time we have atough call on length of journey as there is Nagarhole forest @ karnataka-kerala border it wil be open til 9pm..which means we have to make it in below 5 hrs...
Traffic made stil worse as we tuk more than a hr to jus go out of bangalore...thank god! Driver is so excellent,in full control of situation n made it Just 10mins before to the forest
gate if not theres no way to stay til gate opens next day morning..So thr ws no breaks for tea also til we getin the forest gate..ride itself ws too adventurous calculating distance left
in lap :) and time we hav..it ws like team supporteam F1 driver..:P

I bookd a homestay(gems holiday) thru common frnd but amazed myself to see it wn we reached around 10pm..its a spacious, nice lonely home located inside a tea estate..fud is perfect wid gobi, chicken kabab n gravy wid roti n pulav..we left place in tummy fr d surprise cake which bro n pradeep boarded last in cab :D...
We started takin pics as tht home has lots of articrafts lik cheetah, bear, deer n snakes skin n their demos..thou we r busy in pics old clock ticking big sounds to makesure we didnt miss 00.00hrs ..To my surprise even homestay n travels ppl brot in one more cake n joined celebrations :)..bday song n camera flashes, bday bumps and loud clock ringing bells mixed in right blend for cakecut..

Amidst of all those i tuk calls frm friends n @00.30 hrs we sat for a campfire played games n had a black coffee..early in d mornin we got up to catch mist n luk around places at homestay..we tuk few snaps and ate Puttu kerala spl for brk fast wid kadala black chana n veg curry along wid dosa. we slipd frm thr around 7 to reach chembra peak: its a flush green tea estates ,misty clouds around..

we thot of skippin full trek and went to view point n tuk some pics...

Thr is one more cake cut at top of the hill
at viewpoint...thr ws such a heavy breeze
we couldnt protect candle light :)
..there were few leaches tht tasted andhraguys
haemoglobin in the trek :( ....

From thr we headed to soochipara waterfalls..we tuk so mny snaps tht camera charge drained out..we got some shop wr we plugged it n dressed well
for the place to enjoy waterfall which needs 2kms trek downhil..its one of the best waterfal wr i went into the water..its at natures best wid thundering sound and bountiful waterflow wid monsoon at peak it roars so hard like a lion..we formed chains n crossed stones to get a place underwaterfall..one doesnt need to measure the height n flow to enjoy the shower as we got drenched in sec with the spray of water reflected from the waterfall itself..
We couldnt control the excitement n thn we reached peak to tak camera n trekked again 2kms to catch excitement on camera :)

We decided to come back from thr to bangalore as we were out of charge..we had few samosa ,cakes n hot coffeee n started back..On the way we spotted elephant , peacock ,deers and monkeys in the forest...

Wow! wat to say its amazing feelin on bday ..go for teaestates, campfire, trek, view point and waterfall...it ws an awesome journey n worthwhile..Few of bestpics of mine at each place

This trip wouldnt have been great wid out team..luv u team had a gr8 company

No exercise, long work hours double heart failure risk

Many people i met everyday are very good at what they do job, business etc...they were doing it sincerely and passionately but what i observed mostly is when fighting to catch your dreams for career or money don't forget that peace of mind and health are important to enjoy your years of hard work..there is no point if you cant enjoy the fruits of your success....

People go to office on time or atleast late for job sake..roam around for frnds company..enjoy watching movies for entertainment..but y people dont take health as a major priority till they fall sick is still a shock...

Dont give excuses for maintaining your health by saying today i am sleepy...i slept late ..worked hard at offic yday..not feeling like hitting gym everyday..

If you make a habit of keeping your health in track like brushing your teeth i dont think you will feel the burden..Just make it another routine in your life..

below here is a study shows shocking strong facts...

A study shows

"Sedentary men who work beyond 45 hours a week double their risk of dying from heart failure. However, men who keep fit or exercise and work long hours face no increased risk of dying from cardiac conditions.

The study examined data for 5,000 men -- aged between 40 and 59 years from 14 different companies -- which included their fitness levels over 30 years, reports the Daily Mail. The men did cycling exercise tests to assess their fitness and provided details on the average number of hours they worked every week, according to the journal Heart.

Around 70 percent of men worked between 41 and 45 hours a week, while around 20 percent worked longer hours. Over the course of the study, there were 587 deaths from heart disease caused by the narrowing and hardening of arteries.

Experts found that men who were unfit were at the greatest risk of dying from heart disease, particularly if they worked long hours.

Those who were both unfit and worked more than 45 hours a week were more than twice as likely to die from the disease than men working fewer than 40 hours.

And men who worked 41 to 45 hours a week had a 59 percent higher risk of dying from heart disease compared to those working under 40 hours.

Physically fit men working longer hours were 45 percent less likely to die of heart disease and 38 percent less likely to die of other causes than those who were unfit.

The findings, by a team from the National Research Centre for the Working Environment in Denmark, held true despite factors likely to influence the results, such as work stress and living conditions"

Life is beautiful!!!!!

Hi friends...
its a while i had my last post posted..today i m goin to write which is always thr in my mind ..probably i hav discussed myself n wid my friends n family many times......

Do u wanna make your lif complex ?? or simple??

Yup Complexity Vs Simple...sounds strange right ya i do felt the same...

wat i found out is making life complex is pretty easy :) but many people say its difficult to face complex things but every1 does the same we mess up things n learn in life how to handle complex situations and in end we enjoy if we can handle if not regret for wat we did but stil u knw wat u shldnt do wn u try again...

But wt i think rather than reading books or hearing to sum1's stories its always best to face tough situations n figure out key fr success of solvin it ....

this applies to anythin a job, relationships, business etc..

On other hand even though word simple sounds very easy "its always tough to be simple :D"..try always to eat or work or sleep ..sounds easy task but you cant do same always..

my thot of writing this post is all about suggesting u guys ...
Make your life easy , simple ,hav fun....

few tips:
1) "Enjoy your life" thou seems evry1 knws its difficult to apply...just do switch ur habits often try new things ...go for new hobbies ..travel...trek...have fun..

2) Dont take evrythin into heart --but take into mind..work to finish the job nt more thn tht..

3) Control your emotions: ..i saw lots of guys n gals get hurt emotionally ..as most of them feel alone n miss companions thou they stay wid lots of frnds..make gud frnds..bcoz gud frnds r found only by making thm..

4) Hav surprises in your life..enjoy evry moment wid pride...

5) Dont keep swithcing jobs often..job is just a carrier for lif..establishing brand in a work gives recognition..so choose a gud plac to stay fr long..

6) forgive n forget ...sometimes i feel its humans best gift by god..if not people wil make their lif hell...as -ve stays longer and spreads more than +ve...

Life's never perfect.
There'll always be ups and down.
That's what makes life!
When needed, leave the unhappYness behind;
Pick up your courage, and move on...
To a brighter side.

There'll always be a bright side,
Among that lot of darkness.

Apple iphone 4--Awesome Engineering !

Apple CEO Steve Jobs opened the 2010 Worldwide Developers Conference today by announcing the latest iPhone incarnation, the iPhone 4. As expected, the latest handset features a high-resolution display, a faster processor, and video calling, but it also sports unexpected additions like a new antenna and a gyroscope. It will be available exclusively with AT&T starting June 24. The price with service is fair--$199 for the 16GB phone or $299 for the 32GB device--and both models come in white and black versions.

Design
The new iPhone's design is a sharp departure from the previous iPhone models. The front and back sides are glass, both surfaces are flat, and a stainless steel border circles the entire phone.

Antenna
The stainless steel border is more than just decorative; it doubles as a new antenna that circles the entire phone.

Display
Apple has a unique talent for making us want something we never knew we wanted. The iPhone 4 features a 940x640-pixel (or 300 pixels per square inch) "Retina Display," which is four times the resolution of previous iPhone models. What's more, it uses the same IPS display that's found on the iPad with an 800:1 contrast ratio.

Camera changes
The iPhone's camera has always been decent, but it's lacked features found on many basic phones. That's why we applaud the 5-megapixel resolution, the new LED flash, and the 5x digital zoom. The iPhone 4 also has a new back-side illuminated sensor, which requires a more-detailed explanation. Check out my colleague Stephen Shankland's blog for a detailed look at the technology.

iOS 4
As mentioned, the iPhone 4 has all the goodies that come with the latest iPhone operating system that Apple announced last April. Jobs said that the OS will now be called iOS 4 rather than iPhone OS 4. That's a nod to the fact that the OS runs on both the iPhone and the iPad.

Gyroscope
The iPhone 3Gs gave us a compass, but the iPhone 4 raises the bar by offering a three-axis gyroscope. Like on an airplane, you'll get pitch, roll, and yaw, and it's tied with the accelerometer to provide six-axis motion sensing. Though by all means it will be useful to app and game developers, it also just looks like a lot of fun.

FaceTime
FaceTime, a new video-calling exclusive to the iPhone 4. You'll be able to use FaceTime in both portrait and landscape modes, and it uses both the front and rear cameras. no setup, it's based on open standards, and that you won't have to download an additional app.

Well it only releasing in 5 countries mainly in US now..but need to see when it lands up in india..but surely it will be a mind blowing gadget

Main concern is Apple is pushing the Micro-SIM format, it saves plastic, but a Micro-SIM doesn't offer any functional benefits over the standard SIM. May be hinderance to iPhone jailbreakers? We'll have to wait and see the answer, but in the meantime we hope that you'll be able to use the same Micro-SIM between on an iPhone 4 and an iPad 3G.

Hoginekkal water falls-Best for Adventurous coracle ride

Hi guys,

Its a been good weekend as we group of 9 planned to have a fun weekend ...
As everyone wanted something adventurous we chose coracle ride obviously its me who pushed everyone...
Hoginekkal water falls was in news for TN and KRTK dispute...

It has 2 two routes one is around 130kms for bikerzz and other is in highway around 170kms to go in car..

We planned for a bike trip like last time we had been to Nandi hills but as its raining often in bangalore we choose cab a white tavera...:)

We started around 6am in the morning n pasd thru elec city..we stopped at 8 for breakfast at Sarvana bhavan and breakfast was decent..

from there we directly headed to dharmapuri and then to hoginekkal...

If u go on a private cab u hav to pay 500rs for state tax for tamil nadu..

Once u reach u have to pay forest fees n parking which r minimal....

In hoginekkal things to watch for r Waterfalls, island, coracle ride, hanging bridge for view point...

Fish is very gud n cheap one cn enjoy it in riverside..

Coolest part of trip is coracle ride thru caveri river beside waterfalls...its advic
ed in not rainy season as waterfalls wont disrupt boats..

Womans Day spl! Do Women need 33% reservation???

International Women's Day has been observed since in the early 1900's, a time of great expansion and turbulence in the industrialized world that saw booming population growth and the rise of radical ideologies.
The new millennium has witnessed a significant change and attitudinal shift in both women's and society's thoughts about women's equality and emancipation. Many from a younger generation feel that 'all the battles have been won for women' while many feminists from the 1970's know only too well the longevity and ingrained complexity of patriarchy. With more women in the boardroom, greater equality in legislative rights, and an increased critical mass of women's visibility as impressive role models in every aspect of life, one could think that women have gained true equality.
As a matter of fact Men and Women are both part of gods creation with equal privileges. But people tend to see them as One sided coin as men on upperside. That trend was clearly wiped of with the changing world!
Let us wish all women on this day ..hope tradition sees men honouring their mothers, wives, girlfriends, colleagues, etc to let them know we respect them...:)
Now a days we can see women conquering the world but still politicians project the bitter past to get the vote bank to their side.Do you really think bill for 33 percent of legislative seats for women in india is required if they are equally capable as men?????
