Trip to bekal

A lazy n most pleasant trip
We had been traveling from last 2 times to kerala only i.e WAYNAD followed by Alleppy and now to Bekal 3 time traveled to kerala in couple of months  :) ...

Unexplored destination :
When my friend sriji told abt it the day after we were
back from alleppy i was not even thinking that i will make it...
anyway last trip best buddies bv,vijay n naidu missed
who were looking badly for a fun n nature loving place with us..

Bangalore to Kasirgod n Valiyaparamba(boat house)since its 300 km frm bangalore we tuk public transport its well connected with kerala and karnataka RTC..
We went early morning thr had to refresh somewhr
surprisingly we could get a boat house for our refreshments(i hope no one would hav tried so
innovative :) credit goes to sriji) we could catch the
glimpse of calm wide spread river bed wid numerous
coconut trees made us recollect exact pics of kerala
Adz in tourism...the joy in the faces were captured
n digitalised as cherishing memories :)i stil remember tht click of photo which my brain tuk which i backed
up long single pass wooden bridge wid wud to bridge the gap btw 2 towns...

Bekal fort
from there we headed to fort on private  transport as kerala rtc isn't well connected n local trains r preferred but plan well as we misd... we regret as roads r in bad shape n one has to be so careful as we felt hard even in Volvo..but no one could carry bad roads or
hardships the moment we entered lush green lawns and the unending wall of fort which reminded us
"china wall" wow amazing experience

.

I feel people r not aware of this place but i later come to know once i reach thr that it is place where they shooted "Bombay" movie song Uyire Uyire amazing place i shld say if u could recollect...

We played in the place as it seems like almost Goa :)

Here are few snaps top left natural pose :) at edge of fort from where one can see high tides of sea touching the sky at far end(imagining)
Top left is at bekal beach
Bottom left is view of bekal fort from the beach side and at last the happy team which came back from the trip with loads of memories and smiles.

Trip to Wayanad - Kerala

Wayanad--(gods own country) on bday'2010

Finally i confirmed this trip thou i planned to visit it many times before..As last bday i visited coorg this time wn d day approaching frnds started asking me wr i
planned this time to be part of team :)...so i had plans but inspite of time conflict i redesigned trip n informed in short notice to all...we briefed it to be a 1night/1day trip..

Lastmin dropouts:naidu n vijay n few other frnds misd this trip due to the dependencies @work i pity them as it was awesome trip..

We started 2 hours late in my plan..6 of us started @4pm waynad is in kerala which is around 350kms drive of 5-6 hours..but unlike other trips this time we have atough call on length of journey as there is Nagarhole forest @ karnataka-kerala border it wil be open til 9pm..which means we have to make it in below 5 hrs...
Traffic made stil worse as we tuk more than a hr to jus go out of bangalore...thank god! Driver is so excellent,in full control of situation n made it Just 10mins before to the forest
gate if not theres no way to stay til gate opens next day morning..So thr ws no breaks for tea also til we getin the forest gate..ride itself ws too adventurous calculating distance left
in lap :) and time we hav..it ws like team supporteam F1 driver..:P

I bookd a homestay(gems holiday) thru common frnd but amazed myself to see it wn we reached around 10pm..its a spacious, nice lonely home located inside a tea estate..fud is perfect wid gobi, chicken kabab n gravy wid roti n pulav..we left place in tummy fr d surprise cake which bro n pradeep boarded last in cab :D...
We started takin pics as tht home has lots of articrafts lik cheetah, bear, deer n snakes skin n their demos..thou we r busy in pics old clock ticking big sounds to makesure we didnt miss 00.00hrs ..To my surprise even homestay n travels ppl brot in one more cake n joined celebrations :)..bday song n camera flashes, bday bumps and loud clock ringing bells mixed in right blend for cakecut..

Amidst of all those i tuk calls frm friends n @00.30 hrs we sat for a campfire played games n had a black coffee..early in d mornin we got up to catch mist n luk around places at homestay..we tuk few snaps and ate Puttu kerala spl for brk fast wid kadala black chana n veg curry along wid dosa. we slipd frm thr around 7 to reach chembra peak: its a flush green tea estates ,misty clouds around..

we thot of skippin full trek and went to view point n tuk some pics...

Thr is one more cake cut at top of the hill
at viewpoint...thr ws such a heavy breeze
we couldnt protect candle light :)
..there were few leaches tht tasted andhraguys
haemoglobin in the trek :( ....

From thr we headed to soochipara waterfalls..we tuk so mny snaps tht camera charge drained out..we got some shop wr we plugged it n dressed well
for the place to enjoy waterfall which needs 2kms trek downhil..its one of the best waterfal wr i went into the water..its at natures best wid thundering sound and bountiful waterflow wid monsoon at peak it roars so hard like a lion..we formed chains n crossed stones to get a place underwaterfall..one doesnt need to measure the height n flow to enjoy the shower as we got drenched in sec with the spray of water reflected from the waterfall itself..
We couldnt control the excitement n thn we reached peak to tak camera n trekked again 2kms to catch excitement on camera :)

We decided to come back from thr to bangalore as we were out of charge..we had few samosa ,cakes n hot coffeee n started back..On the way we spotted elephant , peacock ,deers and monkeys in the forest...

Wow! wat to say its amazing feelin on bday ..go for teaestates, campfire, trek, view point and waterfall...it ws an awesome journey n worthwhile..Few of bestpics of mine at each place

No exercise, long work hours double heart failure risk

Many people i met everyday are very good at what they do job, business etc...they were doing it sincerely and passionately but what i observed mostly is when fighting to catch your dreams for career or money don't forget that peace of mind and health are important to enjoy your years of hard work..there is no point if you cant enjoy the fruits of your success....

People go to office on time or atleast late for job sake..roam around for frnds company..enjoy watching movies for entertainment..but y people dont take health as a major priority till they fall sick is still a shock...

Dont give excuses for maintaining your health by saying today i am sleepy...i slept late ..worked hard at offic yday..not feeling like hitting gym everyday..

If you make a habit of keeping your health in track like brushing your teeth i dont think you will feel the burden..Just make it another routine in your life..

below here is a study shows shocking strong facts...

A study shows

"Sedentary men who work beyond 45 hours a week double their risk of dying from heart failure. However, men who keep fit or exercise and work long hours face no increased risk of dying from cardiac conditions.

The study examined data for 5,000 men -- aged between 40 and 59 years from 14 different companies -- which included their fitness levels over 30 years, reports the Daily Mail. The men did cycling exercise tests to assess their fitness and provided details on the average number of hours they worked every week, according to the journal Heart.

Around 70 percent of men worked between 41 and 45 hours a week, while around 20 percent worked longer hours. Over the course of the study, there were 587 deaths from heart disease caused by the narrowing and hardening of arteries.

Experts found that men who were unfit were at the greatest risk of dying from heart disease, particularly if they worked long hours.

Those who were both unfit and worked more than 45 hours a week were more than twice as likely to die from the disease than men working fewer than 40 hours.

And men who worked 41 to 45 hours a week had a 59 percent higher risk of dying from heart disease compared to those working under 40 hours.

Physically fit men working longer hours were 45 percent less likely to die of heart disease and 38 percent less likely to die of other causes than those who were unfit.

The findings, by a team from the National Research Centre for the Working Environment in Denmark, held true despite factors likely to influence the results, such as work stress and living conditions"

Life is beautiful!!!!!

Hi friends...
its a while i had my last post posted..today i m goin to write which is always thr in my mind ..probably i hav discussed myself n wid my friends n family many times......

Do u wanna make your lif complex ?? or simple??

Yup Complexity Vs Simple...sounds strange right ya i do felt the same...

wat i found out is making life complex is pretty easy :) but many people say its difficult to face complex things but every1 does the same we mess up things n learn in life how to handle complex situations and in end we enjoy if we can handle if not regret for wat we did but stil u knw wat u shldnt do wn u try again...

But wt i think rather than reading books or hearing to sum1's stories its always best to face tough situations n figure out key fr success of solvin it ....

this applies to anythin a job, relationships, business etc..

On other hand even though word simple sounds very easy "its always tough to be simple :D"..try always to eat or work or sleep ..sounds easy task but you cant do same always..

my thot of writing this post is all about suggesting u guys ...
Make your life easy , simple ,hav fun....

few tips:
1) "Enjoy your life" thou seems evry1 knws its difficult to apply...just do switch ur habits often try new things ...go for new hobbies ..travel...trek...have fun..

2) Dont take evrythin into heart --but take into mind..work to finish the job nt more thn tht..

3) Control your emotions: ..i saw lots of guys n gals get hurt emotionally ..as most of them feel alone n miss companions thou they stay wid lots of frnds..make gud frnds..bcoz gud frnds r found only by making thm..

4) Hav surprises in your life..enjoy evry moment wid pride...

5) Dont keep swithcing jobs often..job is just a carrier for lif..establishing brand in a work gives recognition..so choose a gud plac to stay fr long..

6) forgive n forget ...sometimes i feel its humans best gift by god..if not people wil make their lif hell...as -ve stays longer and spreads more than +ve...

analyse yourself tears stay longer than smile on a face wn it encounters...

7) Be strong n believe yourself..dnt take inputs tht demotivates u..

8) Create time for your personnel life...run behind time dnt let time run behind u wn u do nothing.....

Life's never perfect.
There'll always be ups and down.
That's what makes life!
When needed, leave the unhappYness behind;
Pick up your courage, and move on...
To a brighter side.

There'll always be a bright side,
Among that lot of darkness.
Believe me....

Let me tel something nw..wt i realised is, lik evry1 i hav thots to share but i m bad at putting it on paper ..so today i tried first time...bcoz we cnt rectify n improve ourself unless giv a try!!....One who faces hardships n fails wil do better n keep improvin himself n enjoys the success of it :)!

Apple iphone 4--Awesome Engineering !

Apple CEO Steve Jobs opened the 2010 Worldwide Developers Conference today by announcing the latest iPhone incarnation, the iPhone 4. As expected, the latest handset features a high-resolution display, a faster processor, and video calling, but it also sports unexpected additions like a new antenna and a gyroscope. It will be available exclusively with AT&T starting June 24. The price with service is fair--$199 for the 16GB phone or $299 for the 32GB device--and both models come in white and black versions.

Design
The new iPhone's design is a sharp departure from the previous iPhone models. The front and back sides are glass, both surfaces are flat, and a stainless steel border circles the entire phone.

Antenna
The stainless steel border is more than just decorative; it doubles as a new antenna that circles the entire phone.

Display
Apple has a unique talent for making us want something we never knew we wanted. The iPhone 4 features a 940x640-pixel (or 300 pixels per square inch) "Retina Display," which is four times the resolution of previous iPhone models. What's more, it uses the same IPS display that's found on the iPad with an 800:1 contrast ratio.

Camera changes
The iPhone's camera has always been decent, but it's lacked features found on many basic phones. That's why we applaud the 5-megapixel resolution, the new LED flash, and the 5x digital zoom. The iPhone 4 also has a new back-side illuminated sensor, which requires a more-detailed explanation. Check out my colleague Stephen Shankland's blog for a detailed look at the technology.

iOS 4
As mentioned, the iPhone 4 has all the goodies that come with the latest iPhone operating system that Apple announced last April. Jobs said that the OS will now be called iOS 4 rather than iPhone OS 4. That's a nod to the fact that the OS runs on both the iPhone and the iPad.

Gyroscope
The iPhone 3Gs gave us a compass, but the iPhone 4 raises the bar by offering a three-axis gyroscope. Like on an airplane, you'll get pitch, roll, and yaw, and it's tied with the accelerometer to provide six-axis motion sensing. Though by all means it will be useful to app and game developers, it also just looks like a lot of fun.

FaceTime
FaceTime, a new video-calling exclusive to the iPhone 4. You'll be able to use FaceTime in both portrait and landscape modes, and it uses both the front and rear cameras. no setup, it's based on open standards, and that you won't have to download an additional app.

Well it only releasing in 5 countries mainly in US now..but need to see when it lands up in india..but surely it will be a mind blowing gadget

Main concern is Apple is pushing the Micro-SIM format, it saves plastic, but a Micro-SIM doesn't offer any functional benefits over the standard SIM. May be hinderance to iPhone jailbreakers? We'll have to wait and see the answer, but in the meantime we hope that you'll be able to use the same Micro-SIM between on an iPhone 4 and an iPad 3G.

Hoginekkal water falls-Best for Adventurous coracle ride

Hi guys,

Its a been good weekend as we group of 9 planned to have a fun weekend ...
As everyone wanted something adventurous we chose coracle ride obviously its me who pushed everyone...
Hoginekkal water falls was in news for TN and KRTK dispute...

It has 2 two routes one is around 130kms for bikerzz and other is in highway around 170kms to go in car..

We planned for a bike trip like last time we had been to Nandi hills but as its raining often in bangalore we choose cab a white tavera...:)

We started around 6am in the morning n pasd thru elec city..we stopped at 8 for breakfast at Sarvana bhavan and breakfast was decent..

from there we directly headed to dharmapuri and then to hoginekkal...

If u go on a private cab u hav to pay 500rs for state tax for tamil nadu..

Once u reach u have to pay forest fees n parking which r minimal....

In hoginekkal things to watch for r Waterfalls, island, coracle ride, hanging bridge for view point...

Fish is very gud n cheap one cn enjoy it in riverside..

Coolest part of trip is coracle ride thru caveri river beside waterfalls...its advic
ed in not rainy season as waterfalls wont disrupt boats..

Womans Day spl! Do Women need 33% reservation???

International Women's Day has been observed since in the early 1900's, a time of great expansion and turbulence in the industrialized world that saw booming population growth and the rise of radical ideologies.
The new millennium has witnessed a significant change and attitudinal shift in both women's and society's thoughts about women's equality and emancipation. Many from a younger generation feel that 'all the battles have been won for women' while many feminists from the 1970's know only too well the longevity and ingrained complexity of patriarchy. With more women in the boardroom, greater equality in legislative rights, and an increased critical mass of women's visibility as impressive role models in every aspect of life, one could think that women have gained true equality.
As a matter of fact Men and Women are both part of gods creation with equal privileges. But people tend to see them as One sided coin as men on upperside. That trend was clearly wiped of with the changing world!
Let us wish all women on this day ..hope tradition sees men honouring their mothers, wives, girlfriends, colleagues, etc to let them know we respect them...:)
Now a days we can see women conquering the world but still politicians project the bitter past to get the vote bank to their side.Do you really think bill for 33 percent of legislative seats for women in india is required if they are equally capable as men?????
